Proper Skincare in Bucks County
Time for our skin to shine and Shmutzies in Bucks County can help
The mask ban has been lifted (somewhat) so let’s take care of our face! The Center For Disease Control (CDC) announced that if you have been fully vaccinated from COVID-19 that you can go places without wearing your mask. This is an honor based system and we all know how honest people can be.
If you have been fully vaccinated and have decided to go out without a mask, kudos to you. However, your skin is probably a total mess so you may just want to keep that mask on regardless. To help you get your face back into shape, it’s time to start getting real and time for our skin to shine once again.
Having a good skin cleaning routine is the key to keeping your face healthy and clean. Adding a mask to our everyday dress has wreaked havoc on us, both mentally and health wise. While wearing a mask is an important and necessary part of helping to eliminate this virus, it’s important to take care of ourselves when we are home and do not have a mask on.
So, what can we do? We can start by making sure we have a great cleansing routine for our skin and then make sure we do it every day, morning, and night. Now that summer is fast approaching, it’s also important to remember that the sun is going to have its way with our skin also. You should be using an SPF no matter what time of year it is but for those sun worshipers out there, get into the habit of using one NOW.
Find yourself a great cleanser and use it. Cleaning your skin with natural products is the best way to keep it healthy and keep maskne at bay. This way, if you have to keep wearing that mask, as you should in certain situations, your face won’t suffer.
Don’t just think about your face. Your skin on your entire body could probably use an overhaul as well. This means get away from the big box manufactured soap and beauty products and start using natural handmade products instead. Smaller companies, like Shmutzies, who create soap, lotions and cleansers in small batches using natural ingredients that will not harm your skin or the environment. Which would you rather use? We know you are looking for what’s best for your skin and your health in general.
The pandemic isn’t over, although restrictions are starting to life. Let’s all do our part to help wipe it out for good. If you are vaccinated, congratulations and continue to stay safe. If you aren’t vaccinated, be responsible and honest and keep wearing your mask. It’s the right thing to do for yourself and those around you.
