Natural Soap Is Good For Your Skin

Published on: September 15, 2021 | Author: Shmutzies Bathtub Team

Beach time clean time!

What do the beach and soap have in common?  Lots!  The feeling that the ocean air brings you is also similar to the feel that a good bar of soap can bring you.  The fresh sea air, sandy beaches and salty ocean water are all components that can keep your skin feeling great and refreshed while also soothing your mind.  A good bar of soap can do the same thing.

When you shower or bathe with a nice handmade, natural bar of soap, you are smelling the freshness of whatever natural ingredients have gone into making it.  Most natural soaps will have natural exfoliants throughout, just like the sand can exfoliate your skin and the wonderful fragrance of essential oils and other natural ingredients can soothe and relax your mind.

A natural bar of soap can be so relaxing for your soul in addition to keeping you clean and refreshed.  Many commercial soaps contain harmful chemicals that can be harsh to your skin and not at all appealing to smell.  With handmade soap, you can rest assured knowing you are getting all natural ingredients that are good for your skin.  Ingredients that won’t leave you feeling dry or unclean.

At Shmutzies, we know soap.  We know what works and what doesn’t.  We also know what your skin needs.  We experiment on ourselves, and we know what does and doesn’t work for our bodies.  So, then we pass on that knowledge to you, and you never have to worry about all the crap that happened before the masterpiece.

Natural soap is made of fresh ingredients like natural plant-based butters and oils and essential oils that are used to soften and clean your skin in a way that commercial brand body washes and cleaners just can’t do.  Natural soap is almost made with glycerin which is a natural ingredient found in soap when it is created.  Most commercial brands will remove the glycerin. Why?

Glycerin is an ingredient that moisturizes your skin and is what keeps it soft and supple.  When commercial brands remove the glycerin, they are basically taking that step out of their body washes and cleaners.  Why?  Because then they can take that glycerin and put it in a body lotion and that gives them the power to sell two products to you in order for them to make more money.

Natural soap keeps the glycerin in the soap so that if you don’t want to use a lotion after you wash with your fresh handmade soap, you don’t have to.  The soap moisturizes you as it cleans you.  Very sneaky behavior from big box companies if we do say so.  Who wants to support that kind of behavior?  We know we don’t.

If you are looking for good, natural handmade soap that helps keep your skin smooth, clean, and moisturized, go for a good soap like Shmutzies.  We don’t keep secrets and what you see is what you get with our products.

Try Shumtzies today.  You won’t be disappointed!
