Bar Soap Discrimination in the US?

Published on: March 3, 2021 | Author: Shmutzies Bathtub Team

Help end soap discrimination

bar-soap-is-awesome

All over the news we hear nothing but hate and violence.  We discriminate against things we don’t understand.  We’re here to tell you about the discrimination against soap and to educate you on the significance of this major personal item.

Many people think bar soap is taboo.  That using it can lead to germs and that it doesn’t really clean the way, perhaps a liquid soap does.  We’re here to tell you just how utterly ridiculous, stupid and discriminatory that is!  It’s been said that bar soap can develop bacteria because after it is used, it sits in a wet soap dish to stew in its own, well yuckiness.  What is this yuckiness you refer to?  There isn’t any!

Bar soap, when made natural and pure, is better for you than any liquid soap you purchase.  Natural handmade soap is made with only the freshest ingredients.  There are no chemicals or by-products which is what can create the yuckiness in the first place.  When you use bar soap, it is best to yes, put it on a soap dish to dry.  It does not develop bacteria or get dirty while left out to dry after using it.  In fact, it dries and stays as potent and perfect as it was before you used it.  Soap isn’t dirty after you use it, just the opposite in fact.

The idea behind washing your hands, especially now during this pandemic, is to wash away impurities, germs, and bacteria lingering on your skin.  And nothing is better at removing those impurities, germs, and bacteria than good old-fashioned bar soap.  This does not mean that while using the soap that those things linger on the soap.  Quite the opposite happens.

When you wash your hands with bar soap, you are getting the soap wet to lather it and using that lather to wash your hands and get all the bad crap off said hands.  So where does that bad crap go?  It goes down the drain!  It doesn’t stay on your hands and it certainly doesn’t stay on the soap.  So, after you have lathered up and rinsed off both your hands and the soap, you are left with clean hands and clean soap!  It’s a no-brainer really.

Soap has gotten a really bad rap over the years.  But its resurgence is here and we want you to know that there is no need to fear the bar soap and no need to discriminate against it!  Now that we have educated you on the benefits of bar soap, let’s dispel those myths and embrace that poor neglected bar of soap.  Your ancestors used it and you should too.  There is no need to be afraid!

During this time of hate, anger, and discrimination toward the things in which we may not understand or know, we need to educate ourselves.  Whether it is to educate yourself about people who are different from you or the benefits of a bar of soap, let’s all be kind and open-minded about anything we don’t understand.  Let’s teach ourselves and learn the things we don’t know.  Your bar of soap will thank you.
